What services do EIS grants fund?

Part C EIS grants fund primary health care and support services in outpatient settings for people with HIV.

Who can apply for an EIS grant?

• Federally Qualified Health Centers
• Family planning grantees (other than states)
• Comprehensive Hemophilia Diagnostic and Treatment Centers
• Rural health clinics
• Health facilities operated or contracted by the Indian Health Service
• Community-based organizations, clinics, hospitals, and other facilities that provide early intervention services to people with HIV
• Nonprofit private entities that provide complete primary care to groups of people at risk of HIV, including faith-based and community-based organizations

What services do capacity development grants fund?

Part C Capacity Development grants help organizations strengthen their infrastructure. This helps grant recipients improve their ability to develop, enhance, or expand access to high-quality HIV primary health care services for people with HIV in low-income or rural communities.

Who can apply for a capacity development grant?

• Public or private nonprofits that provide (or plan to provide) HIV primary care
• Current RWHAP grant recipients
• Faith-based organizations
• Community-based organizations
• Tribes and tribal organizations
