Summary of Changes

The HIV/AIDS Bureau reviewed previous versions of the Performance Measures and revised the text and references. Key updates include the following:

• Updated references to National Quality Measures for the following measures:
  • Influenza Immunization
  • Tuberculosis Screening
• Added comparison data references to Healthy People 2030 for the Influenza Immunization measure and the HIV Quality Measures (HIVQM) Module
• Updated links to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Updated HHS Clinical Practice Guidelines language for all measures
• Updated measure details as follows:
  • HIV Drug Resistance Testing Before Initiation of Therapy (used acronym in description, numerator, denominator, and patient exclusions)
  • Lipid Screening (used acronym in description, numerator, denominator, and data elements)
  • Tuberculosis Screening (used acronym in numerator and patient exclusions)
• Included reference to Healthy People 2030 within the "Use in Other Federal Programs" section for the Influenza Immunization measure
• Updated the HRSA contact email address in the Accessibility section
